Dress To Impress With The Prom Prince And Princess
We support vunerable children by providing new winter coats and school uniform as well as new bedding. We believe that all children are entitled to receive new, unworn clothing and bedding. We distribute these items through Sefton schools, who refer the families to us and deliver on our behalf. All referrals for our support services must be made by school pastoral workers.
We also operate a service called Prom Prince & Princesses that provides smart wear to enable vulnerable young people attending Sefton high schools to attend interviews and prom. Please see our associated Facebook page for further information.
We are very grateful for all donations of new clothes, cash and gift cards that allow us to provide this important support for children and families in need. Please see our Facebook page for the latest list and examples of what we are in need of the most.
How to Donate
Donations can be dropped directly to us at the cafe which is detailed on the map above. We are also still accepting donations to another collection point at ADM Meats Please see the following Google Map location of ADM Meats to assist with finding this alternative drop off point.
We appreciate that many donors will have items that are "good as new" however, we are governed by food hygiene regulations and therefore are prevented from storing any used items with the food we distribute, regardless of condition. This is even more important during the times we are currently living in with Covid-19.
Due to this we unfortunately cannot accept donations of used clothes as we would have to dispose of them which is a waste of resources, time and energy. Please take them along to your local charity shop instead, who can make good use of them as they also need your support. Thank you for your cooperation and support!
