Food & Hygiene Hampers
We provide food and hygiene hampers at times of crisis as well as during school holidays, providing support to those in need. We distribute through Sefton schools who refer the families to us and deliver on our behalf.
We are very grateful for all food and hygiene item donations recieved which allow us to provide this important support for children and families in need. Please see our Facebook page for the latest list and examples of what we are in need of the most.
We also accept cash and gift vouchers/cards that can be used for the purchasing of food, hygiene items and new clothes and bedding.
For safety reasons we don't accept items with nuts in for the food hampers nor do we acceot bleach or razors.
We are always on the lookout for new volunteers and additional trustees so if anybody in the local community is interested, please get in touch today!
How to Donate
Donations can be dropped directly to us at the cafe which is detailed on the map above. We are also still accepting donations to another collection point at ADM Meats Please see the following Google Map location of ADM Meats to assist with finding this alternative drop off point.
We appreciate that many donors will have items that are "good as new" however, we are governed by food hygiene regulations and therefore are prevented from storing any used items with the food we distribute, regardless of condition. This is even more important during the times we are currently living in with Covid-19.
Due to this we unfortunately cannot accept donations of used clothes as we would have to dispose of them which is a waste of resources, time and energy. Please take them along to your local charity shop instead, who can make good use of them as they also need your support. Thank you for your cooperation and support!
